India Triumphs in Champions Trophy 2025 Final!
India has clinched the Champions Trophy 2025, securing their record third title with a thrilling four-wicket victory over New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.
New Zealand, after opting to bat first, struggled to reach 251/7. Daryl Mitchell (63) and Michael Bracewell (unbeaten 50+) provided the main resistance against India’s disciplined bowling attack. Kuldeep Yadav (2/40) and Varun Chakaravarthy (2/45) were instrumental in restricting the Kiwis.
In pursuit of 252, India’s captain, Rohit Sharma, led from the front with a masterful 76 off 83 balls. Shreyas Iyer’s composed 48 off 62 balls further solidified India’s chase. With six balls to spare, Ravindra Jadeja struck the winning boundary, propelling India to victory.

India’s journey to the title was flawless, remaining undefeated throughout the tournament. This victory marks their third Champions Trophy win, following triumphs in 2002 and 2013, a feat unmatched by any other nation.
The celebrations were exuberant, with players engaging in joyous dances, and the victory potentially alleviating some of the pain from the 2023 World Cup final.

Proud of our cricket team for bringing home the ICC Champions Trophy. They’ve played wonderfully through the tournament. Congratulations to our team for the splendid all round display.
